    In case you missed my very first recipe and blog post in February of this year Gluten Free Spritz Cookies, I’m here to share it for you again for Christmas.  Baking cookies for Christmas is one of my favorite things to do, it calms me down and I love to give them away as gifts to friends and family.  Well I’ve been at it again, like I have been every year since my early teens and here are the results.  I hope you have a very Merry Christmas/ Holiday Season!!   • Holiday Party Signature Cocktail – The Very Berry Cocktail

    Choosing a Holiday Party Signature Cocktail can be a hard one.  Should you choose one with mint? Should you garnish with red and green? There are so many options.  Well, I hosted a party last weekend and I had this very conundrum.  It was for my sisters in Lipstick Sisters LA and I knew this group would appreciate a champagne cocktail.  After a few taste tests, I came up with the Very Berry Cocktail, part Ruby Red Grapefruit, Cranberry Pomegranate juice and champagne and garnished with frozen cranberries to keep it chilled, see full recipe below. This is even more so when you want to go out with friends and need to find a place that your friends will love and that will serve you something more substantial than a simple dinner salad. I learned that I had gluten intolerance and a wheat allergy in 2007, well before gluten free was so common. It used to be such an ordeal to go out to eat that sometimes I would just meet friends after dinner so I wouldn’t have to deal with it.
