  • Rent the Runway Review

Today I am going to be doing a review of the clothing and accessory rental service Rent the Runway.  Please note that this is not a sponsored post, I just wanted to give an honest review.  I’ve used this service, the unlimited service specifically, for over a year now.  This really ties into my  Buy Less, Buy Better philosophy because basically you’re not buying anything.  It’s the sharing economy, but for clothing…..now wait, if sharing clothes freaks you out, everything is always very clean before it gets to you and you’re not sharing personal items like underwear or bathing suits, which would be very gross. Here are some pros and cons of using Rent the Runway that I’ve experienced during the past year. Pros You Get 3 Different Items at a Time– the 3 items can be anything from jewelry, handbags, dressed, to jackets and coats.  I use it mostly for dresses and outfits… Read More

This design dates back to ancient Greece…..Wedgies for women were popularized by Salvatore Ferragamo, who introduced the design to the Italian market in the late 1930s.” There are also health benefits to wearing a wedge… Read More

  • Simple Ways to Revamp Your Desk

On today’s blog I am sharing some photos and video of how to revamp your desk. My desk is located in my bedroom and I often work from home and this is where I do it. My desk was very functional and utilitarian and had no pretty spaces. I decided that it was really hindering my creativity and free-flowing thoughts and I wanted to make a change.    The Simple 3 Step Plan to Revamp Your Desk De-clutter– remove all unnecessary items off the desk and move papers and files to a filing cabinet. Cable Management– get a cord/ cable keeper and use zip ties to organize the cables behind the desk. Add Inspiring Pieces– What’s inspiring to me, may not be inspiring to you.  Find what makes you happy, you can often find these items in other areas of your house, like I did.   The desk is actually… Read More
