  • Spending the Day in Venice Beach

    Los Angeles is synonymous with summer … living in the Hollywood Hills means sometimes you just need to add the beach to the equation. One of my favorite day trips is Venice Beach. It’s got a flavor all its own and only 30 minutes away …when there’s no traffic (which is never) … or 2 hours when the I10 is bumper to bumper. Nevertheless its always worth the trip.   • Where to Check Out the Spring Super Bloom in Southern California

    So spring is certainly showing its beauty in Southern California, the spring super bloom is in full swing.  As you may know from my Instagram, I love flowers and I’ve found some great locations to see some of these impressive blooms.  I wanted to make sure to share them with you, so that you have a chance to check out the spring super bloom before it ends. I would highly recommend that you check out the Flower Fields in Carlsbad California. According to Wikipedia: The Flower Fields is a flower garden found on the Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California.
